Pascal DumasPascal Dumas is a legend in the baton twirling community. He began twirling at five years old in Marseille, France under the coaching of Christine Bel and international juggler, Pierre Bel. He showed immediate promise and at the age of 12 started winning the French National Championships. He also went on to win the European Championships seven years in a row from 1981 to 1987.
In 1980, the World Baton Twirling Federation(WBTF) hosted its first World Championships in Seattle, Washington. Dumas competed and represented his home country France, bringing home a fifth place finish. He won the bronze medal in 1984, 1985, and 1986. Dumas is a highly regarded clinician and has taught all over the world. His creativity, innovativeness and passion make him one of the most interesting coaches to take from.
