Laney Puhalla
Laney Puhalla is a 13-time Gold Medalist for the World Federation of the National Baton Twirling Association and is the currently World Baton Twirling Federations Junior Women’s World Gold Medalist. Laney began twirling at 2 years old and has since traveled the world representing the United States at various World Championships.
Laney also comes with a strong background in dance and acrobatics. Growing up as a competitive dancer as well as a baton twirler has given her the opportunity to be multifaceted. In the dance realm Laney has strong training in Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Acrobatics, and more. Laney believes that the cross training between dance and baton twirling has ultimately improved her twirling as whole giving her a unique style to her performance. Throughout Laney’s many years of twirling she has not only fell in love with the art of performing but she has also developed a love for the art of teaching. The process from the introduction to the sport, the gradual build in knowledge and comprehension, and simply falling in love with the art as a whole is a process, she is excited to have the opportunity to lend a hand in for anyone’s development and progression within the sport. |
